Ok, I put the car on the lift, messed with the wastegate actuator to make sure it was functional and verified all vacuum lines were in place. Then I reflashed the DME with the latest map from Wedge. The car fired up, ran fine, drove it lightly for 5 miles, brought it home, changed the oil in the car, warmed it up, drove light for 5 miles then got a couple runs in no issues, in fact, that car feels faster. Weird. Anyway here are the logs. I was trying to catch one to replicate the problem but the car just worked. Anyway - needless to say, I think what happened was I didn't let the car warm up completely, got in on the freeway, and lit it up, when I dropped the pedal to the floor turbo spooled up hard pushed the wastegate open, and just got stuck there. The hypothesis would be consistent with the codes and failing the smoke test performed at the shop. I has to manually push the rod open and closed and that seem to fix it. If it happens again, The wastegate Actuator is where I will start.
