I checked all the mac solenoid hoses going to the waste gate found no signs of a leak, verified 12vs present at one pin on the boost control solenoid and 5vs on the other not sure if it grounds itself out in the pcm. Applied power and ground directly to mac solenoid and verified it clicks. I did notice when I removed the bov found the gasket pinched so Im currently ordering a new gasket for it. So with the Mac plugged in I was able to reach 12psi and for testing purposes I went and filled up the car with full e85 from a empty tank I was able to reach 18psi but did not get a datalogger of that. The current one shown is hitting only 16psi. I did have a misfire in cylinder 2 found the coil boot torn so I replaced that already. I did have a weird issue. I had driven the car for about 45 miles and while cruising on the freeway going 65 the car randomly died and shut off check engine light illuminated checked mhd no codes found. Had a very long crank and the car finally started had a puff of white smoke and the car was running rough then out of no where it cleared up and was running perfect. Drove home which was another 90 miles give and take was cruising and monitoring afr which was about 14.1-15.8 , rail pressure when light throttle applied was at 700-800 and about 1,500 -2,500 depending on throttle application, lsfp was steady at 72-75 psi the whole time. Car never died again. Did a pull when I was near my house and car felt strong and was at a consistent 18 psi. Car never overheated coolant temps were at 202F. Any recommendations on what to check for. I still think Im battling a boost leak issue and will smoke test the car this week at my shop.
