I know right, I was waiting for my stock turbos to blow but they never did, lol.
I unchecked the 3.5bar TMAP sensor box and flashed it twice. Both times came up with CEL and the same codes as before. I even drove it for a few minutes, but the CEL never went away and I never hit boost WOT. I flashed again with the 3.5bar TMAP sensor box checked and everything was good to go.
After doing a bunch of pulls I read codes when I got home and saw 2A79 - DME: Variable camshaft timing control, intake, cold start.
I did clean both VANOS solenoids a couple of days ago, they were actually pretty clean when I pulled them out. Could it be the idle being set so high? Possibly throwing off the timing chain at idle? I have it set to 1050rpm to minimize flywheel chatter.
The car feels very strong on this v1 map.
Also here are the MHD settings that I had enabled during this log:
✅ OEM/Catted DPs.
✅ MT Shift bog (TQ Lim 2048) delete.
✅ Limit power per gear (MT), 1st 130 2nd 160 3rd blank
✅ Apply linear throttle mapping
✅ 3.5 bar (N20) sensor is installed.
✅ Min. idle: 1050rpm
Please don't forget to change the map name to 6MT.
