Sport mode performs much better than comfort mode at lower rpm. I noticed higher rpm (and boost response) in lower gears 2-4 while in Sport mode in around town driving with no hesitation/lag at all on map 6. BM3 Trans tune definitely "locks up" each gear when shifting into higher gears with no torque converter slippage allowed, creating low rpm engine "load" in Comfort mode and I believe the turbo lag/pedal input hesitation...
