 Z4 combustion misfireSo, on the z4, I’ve been having 29D0 – combustion misfires, cylinder 4 errors.
As you know, I got new index 12 injectors for the 335i. so I used one of the good injectors from the 335i and put it in cylinder 4. Had the same issue/error. So, I then swapped injector 3 with 4 but still 29D0 error on cylinder 4. I then swapped the coils from 3 and 4. Still the same error???
What do you think I need to do next? |

335i Using e20 after just replacing all the vacuum lines, new boost solenoids, 30FF error gone, then had 29CD errors - Combustion misfires on cylinder 1, I replaced the injectors with a set of 6 index12 injectors and still had the same 29CD error when coming on boost. I then swapped the coils from cylinders 1 and 2 around to see if the error would move to cylinder 2. But instead, I am now getting a 2DED error and 29DC error? |

335i e20 datalogs first run seemed better, i did what you asked and turned the car off, then back on and did another two runs. I was also getting some errors today on MHD, 2AAF - DME: Fuel pump, plausability and 30FF DME: Turbocharger, charge-air pressure too low. errors. |

335i data logs with e20 when i first get into the car it seems to come on boost. a bit, but not hard boost. Then after a first bit of boost it seems to drive like an NA car without boost? And Im getting no error codes on MHD.
I had to put a full tank of e20 in the other day as i didnt have access to e85. I can now get e85. so do you want me to stick with e20 for now or how many liters of e20 and how many liters of e85 do you want me to put in the car with the next map? |
