V8 map 4. B58 coils and Brisk plugs
We swapped out the Bosch coils and NGK plugs for B58 coils and Brisk plugs. Here are the 3 logs. The first log seemed to slip on the dyno and reported about 620whp, but the last 2 logs both recorded about 650whp. I am curious about why the rail pressure is consistently dropping around 3800-4300rpm? Is that the port injection firing up and taking the flow?
V8 Map 4 (4.1 & 4.2 in 4th gear, plus a 5th gear pull)
11:21am timestamp: this was first attempt at map 4 in 4th gear. It is graph 4.1 in the WhatsApp messages. Seemed to pull timing about 5,000rpm. Also a noticeable dip in rail pressure. Made 617whp
11:33am timestamp: second attempt at map 4 in 4th gear. It is graph 4.2 in the WhatsApp messages. Timing correction didn’t seem as bad. Made 631whp
11:34 timestamp: map 4 in 5th gear. Seemed to run pretty well from the feel of it and the look of the log but it went outside some speed parameters of the dyno so it didn’t properly record the power. No photo/picture of that dyno result.
