98 Octane

Engine boosted fine till around 4.5k. Felt like throttle bottle closed and threw code 3100. Engine won't hold boost to redline. If I ease into the throttle engine will boost hitting around 17.8psi then goes into limp mode with throwing and engine code of 3100 boost pressure control deactivation.

This is the first log of the power issues with the x3 m40i (b58 gen 1)

Very odd torque and power issues. E40 of this tune doesn’t have a huge effect as it use to and 98 seems to be pretty lack luster as if it had a boost leak but doesn’t look like it but does have timing corrections which it never use to. Blocked catalytic converter after downpipe maybe??
